As recognised in our most recent Ofsted inspection, we are “a friendly school with a vision to provide the best education for all pupils”.
This vision is reflected in the reality of our 2025 examination results, which were our best ever! We also know that this trend will continue in the coming years. As part of Lift Schools, we have set the ambitious goal of 90% of our students achieving a good pass in English and Mathematics by 2028, and to continue the year-on-year rise in the number of students achieving the highest grades. It is this success that will allow every young person who attends this school to access the most ambitious future as they enter adulthood.
Moveover, at Lift New Forest, children belong to a community of students who are proud of their school. Students are respectful to each other and behave very well in and out of lessons.
They embody the habits of the New Forest Way; Be Kind, Show Determination, Make Good Choices. The children at our school are a pleasure to work with, both inside and outside the classroom.
As a small school we are fortunate to be able to really get to know each student very well, and our children are part of a school with a real community feel. Strong relationships and first class support across the community ensure that young people are safe, happy and successful.
In recent years we have focussed not only on the academic rigour of our curriculum but also on ensuring that students experience the fun and fundamentals of a brilliant all round education. Be it through providing student leadership opportunities in an increasing range of roles, or demonstrating extra-curricular excellence in areas such as sport or the arts, we are committed to providing students with the very best personal development to go alongside an excellent education.
